Welcome to Practical Lettering Studio (“PLS”), operated by Stitch-Rite Studio LLC.
By purchasing, downloading, or using any fonts or products from our website, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before placing an order.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website or completing a purchase, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or have parental consent) and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our [Privacy Policy](/policies/privacy-policy), [Return Policy](/policies/refund-policy), and [Font License Agreement](/pages/license).
If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use this website or our products.
2. Products and Delivery
All fonts and digital goods sold through this site are delivered electronically.
After your payment is processed, you will receive download links for your files.
We do not ship physical goods unless otherwise specified.
Please ensure your email address is entered correctly at checkout. PLS is not responsible for delivery issues caused by incorrect information.
3. Font Licensing and Usage
All fonts remain the intellectual property of Practical Lettering Studio and are licensed, not sold.
Your rights and usage limits are governed by the [Font License Agreement](/pages/license) associated with your purchase.
Redistribution, resale, sublicensing, or inclusion of the font files in any repository or shared library (public or private) is prohibited.
Licenses are non-transferable unless explicitly authorized in writing.
4. Refunds and Exchanges
Refunds are governed by our Return Policy
In short:
- Refunds are available within 15 days of purchase for unused files.
- If a file is defective or cannot be opened, we will provide a replacement or refund.
- Once a refund is issued, your license is revoked and you must delete all copies of the font from your systems and projects.
Due to the nature of digital goods, refunds are not available once a font has been installed, embedded, or used in published work.
5. Pricing and Payments
All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars unless otherwise noted.
We reserve the right to modify pricing or licensing tiers at any time, though changes will not affect prior purchases.
Payments are processed securely through Shopify Payments, Stripe, or PayPal. We do not store credit card information.
6. Intellectual Property
All fonts, lettering designs, text, images, and other creative materials on this site are the exclusive property of Practical Lettering Studio and its collaborators.
You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without written permission.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Practical Lettering Studio and Stitch-Rite Studio LLC are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our products or website.
In no event shall our total liability exceed the purchase price of the product in question.
